Already victorious in the £100,000 Tattersalls Somerville Auction S. at Newmarket in August, Amichi (Ire) (Gutaifan {Ire}) one of 29 juveniles signed on for the six-furlong £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction S. back at HQ on Saturday. Trained by Ed Walker, Amichi is a 15,500gns graduate of the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale. Saturday's contest is open to 2-year-olds offered at the Tattersalls Somerville Yearling Sale, the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales Book 3 and 4, or which were withdrawn from any of the above sales and were subsequently offered at the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale.

Challenging Amichi is Walker stablemate Union Court (GB), who was knocked down for 18,000 gns during the third book of last year's Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. The highest-rated horse in the field, the filly is one of six in the race by leading first-season sire Havana Grey (GB). Another Book 3 alumni is 16,000-gns purchase Skysail (GB) (Tasleet {GB}), who was second when unveiled, but put it all together to win a Newbury maiden last out for trainer Marcus Tregoning.

The October Yearling Sale begins with Book 1 on Oct. 4-6, Book 2 from Oct. 10-12, Book 3 on Oct. 13-14 and ends with Book 4 on Oct. 15. For more information, please visit the Tattersalls website.
